Invitation to Submit

ASDP 2026 Singapore with the theme "Intelligence in Every Pixel: Powering Next Generation Pathology" invites submissions of original research for oral free paper and poster presentations. The congress covers in digital pathology, artificial intelligence, computational pathology and precision diagnostics.

Submission of an abstract constitutes the author's consent for publication of the abstract in the congress programme. Please ensure the correctness of your abstract as it will be published as submitted.

Oral Presentation

Original research selected for oral presentation in a scientific session. The top-scoring abstracts submitted for free paper will qualify for oral presentation. All others will be considered for poster presentation.

Original research displayed in the dedicated Poster Area throughout the congress. Official poster-viewing hours are held during break time of each day.

Submission Guidelines

Follow these requirements carefully when preparing your abstract for submission.

Rules for Submission 7 rules

－

1 All abstracts must be submitted through the ASDP 2026 Abstract Submission Portal (opens 30 March 2026). Hardcopy, faxed and email abstracts will not be accepted.

2 Abstracts must be written in English only.

3 The abstract body must not exceed 300 words, excluding the title and author details.

4 Abstracts must follow the structured format: Background / Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion.

5 Tables and figures are not permitted within the abstract body.

6 A maximum of 10 authors per abstract.

7 Authors may indicate their preferred presentation format (oral or poster). The Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign presentation type based on scientific content and programme requirements.

Themes and Topics

Below are the suggested themes and topics for abstract submission, although other topics related to digital and computational pathology, artificial intelligence and precision diagnostics related to pathology can be considered.

› Digital pathology workflows: laboratory digitalisation, slide scanning, image management and archiving.
› Artificial intelligence & machine learning: computational image analysis, deep learning algorithms, decision support and regulatory considerations.
› Telepathology & remote consultation: real-time diagnostics, telepathology networks and quality assurance.
› Integrative diagnostics: combining digital morphology with genomics, transcriptomics and radiomics.
› Spatial proteomics and transcriptomics, multiplex immunohistochemistry, novel imaging techniques/perspectives: mapping of proteins and gene expression for complex cellular interactions and disease mechanisms.
› Quality management & standardisation: best practices, regulatory frameworks and standardised reporting.
› Education & training : upskilling the pathology workforce to embrace digital technology, and using digital technology to facilitate pathology education.
